Exciting, hybrid opportunities for one of our innovative clients as a Senior Instructional Designer. You will develop training, train-the-trainer materials and support materials for District personnel to train new employees after graduation from corporate training. You will develop, deliver, maintain, and ensure consistency and quality in training tools, manuals, and systems. Utilize appropriate tools and software to develop and deliver training via OneNet, First Reference, the Client s Learning Management System (LMS), and other delivery methods. More specifically, you will: design, develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media course materials and training collateral; select and use the training/instructional methods and procedures most appropriate for the situation and the target audience, and advise colleagues as appropriate; research and resolve content ambiguities based on incomplete or inaccurate information or obsolescence by partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); collaborate with content experts (SMEs) in the field and Home office to identify training requirements and to derive and edit content; use design methodology and a variety of applications to develop, deliver, and maintain training materials and systems; and, effectively communicate basic and advanced instructional design concepts and processes to the customer.

Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience using an instructional design methodology. Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design is essential. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are a must. Experience with Storyline 360, Articulate 360 and Adobe Suite needed. Video creation skills, including experience with Powtoon is preferred. Strong preference for experience working and developing in an Agile environment. Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and proven ability to work independently and in teams is needed. Must have excellent verbal communication skills, including active listening skills, and excellent written communication skills, including superior editing skills and the ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Adaptability to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment of limited resources and ever-changing needs and missions needed. Proficiency in e-Learning authoring tool, Learning Management system, and other tools used in the creation and maintenance of training resources is required. Completion of advanced training in instructional design and/or e-learning is strongly preferred.
