Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and update electronic health records.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, collect specimens, and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent patient service and address concerns with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
