We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Oswego, NY. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.
- Provide mobility support, including transferring and repositioning patients.
- Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification in the state of New York.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work evening shifts and adhere to the scheduled hours.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
