We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at a leading healthcare facility in Syracuse, NY. This is a 13-week contract position with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.

Key Details:
- Shift: Night Shift
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric ICU patients
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of New York (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent PICU experience
- BLS and PALS certifications (AHA required)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- COVID-19 vaccination required
