Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team on a 13-week contract in Rochester, NY. This is a great opportunity for RNs who are passionate about cardiac care and looking for a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have direct Cath Lab experience and be comfortable working in high-acuity settings. Interventional Radiology (IR)-only experience will not be accepted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as angioplasties, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions.
• Monitor patients’ condition pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation (approximately 8–10 shifts/month).

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York (or compact license with NY eligibility).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (required).
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, clinical environment.
