Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU to join our team in Rochester, MI, on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care and be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Operate and maintain life-support systems, including ventilators and IV drips
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system (EPIC/CERNER preferred)
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult situations
• Ensure a safe, sterile, and compliant ICU environment

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Michigan
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Proficiency with EPIC or CERNER EMR systems is a plus
