Thinking Minds Inc.'s client is seeking an experienced SAP IBP & Production Scheduling Manager to lead the transformation of supply chain and operations planning processes within SAP S/4 HANA. This role involves working with order management, supply chain, and operations teams to optimize IBP, production scheduling, and planning systems for efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP IBP & Production Scheduling Initiatives: Act as the primary contact for Plan-to-Make, IBP leadership, and Production Scheduling teams, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT capabilities.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a functional SAP team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and IT teams to define strategy, prioritize requirements, and deliver solutions that support operations, order fulfillment, and customer experience.
- SAP System Implementation & Support: Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP IBP and ePP/DS solutions within S/4 HANA.
- Integration & Process Optimization: Ensure smooth integration with order-to-cash, production planning, and scheduling processes, while driving best practices for data management and analytics.
- Continuous Improvement & Change Management: Provide expertise in SAP methodologies, support technology decisions, and manage system enhancements for long-term business value.
- Technical Leadership: Guide system architecture, interface management, middleware integration, and cross-functional system dependencies.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Conduct cost-benefit analysis, impact assessments, and deployment planning to ensure successful SAP implementation and operational efficiency.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience leading two or more SAP implementations with a focus on IBP and ePP/DS
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Planning & Scheduling, Supply Chain Optimization, and Production Planning
- Experience with custom heuristics and Advanced ATP (Available to Promise)
- Background in manufacturing, building products, or supply chain industries
- Familiarity with Agile, SDLC methodologies, and best practices for ERP deployment
