Job Description
Thinking Minds Inc. is seeking a SAP SD Analyst for our client to drive the implementation, optimization, and support of the SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) module. This role will be a key link between business users and IT teams, ensuring that SAP solutions align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP SD configurations, sales order processing, pricing, invoicing, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP S/4HANA SD design and implementation to support sales order management, post-sales activities, and pricing processes.
- Configure and optimize SAP SD to support order-to-cash (OTC) business processes, including sales orders, pricing, taxation, shipping, and credit management.
- Provide expert support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operation of sales, billing, shipping, and invoicing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Material Management, Finance, and Logistics) to ensure seamless integration and efficiency in end-to-end processes.
- Ensure data integrity within customer master data, pricing conditions, and sales-related information.
- Work with implementation partners to ensure successful project execution and system go-live support.
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance, including unit and integration testing for new configurations and changes.
- Train and support business users in leveraging SAP SD functionalities efficiently.
- Identify and drive process improvements, ensuring industry best practices are followed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in SAP SD and/or OTC, with strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD configuration and implementation.
- Hands-on expertise in sales order management, pricing procedures, rebate processing, credit management, and invoice processing.
- Experience integrating SAP SD with Materials Management (MM), Finance (FI), and Logistics Execution (LE).
- Strong technical knowledge of EDI, IDOC, BAPI, and Seeburger.
- SAP S/4HANA Sales certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, or retail industries is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
