Summary:
Supports the overall credit and portfolio management of customers. Assists in the management of risk in existing relationships. Keeps informed as to the status of loans in the portfolio, including financial and reporting covenant compliance. Prepares and presents typical commercial and industrial portfolio reports by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established Bank credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines.
- Responsible for credit risk and quality of the portfolio.
- Monitors loan repayment activities and financial condition of borrowing clients.
- Supervises the monitoring and tracking of customer reporting covenants. Contacts customer or customer’s representative to request information as needed. Notifies management of issues and non-compliance.
- Supervises the monitoring and tracking of customer’s financial covenants. Notifies management of issues and non-compliance.
- Supervises the monitoring and tracking of collateral and trends.
- Supervises credit and portfolio analysts as appropriate.
- May make recommendations for approval and appropriate structure of credits.
- Participates in Portfolio Management Committee and Loan Risk Rating Committee.
- Contacts the customer or customer’s representative to obtain additional information or explanation detail when required and while coordinating with the Commercial Banker.
- Tracks, monitors and reviews field examinations. Prepares written summaries of issues as necessary.
- May order underwriting items including, but not limited to audit, TLJ and UCC searches, appraisal, environmental, flood certification, and property inspections from both internal and external sources.
- Approves final funding reconciliation in Vendor Services.
- Records and maintains external vendor order costs in Vendor Services.
- Supervises the preparation of loan files.
- Completes Special Projects as needed.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
