Client is seeking a licensed Executive Account Executive with extensive experience in Commercial lines of insurance to join our dynamic team. The Executive Account Executive will play a pivotal role by maintaining large existing books of business upwards of $8million in Premium by cultivating strong relationships with clients, driving business growth, and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Position Overview:
The Executive Account Executive will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the organization. This executive will drive strategic initiatives, build a high-performing team, and establish a robust market presence. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of commercial insurance, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of successfully launching and growing new business units.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the Commercial Lines segment.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, including business owners, executives, and key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and exposures, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to mitigate risks and protect assets.
- Manage large existing books of business, including renewal processes, policy changes, and claims management, to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Lead marketing efforts to promote new insurance products and initiatives, leveraging technical knowledge and market insights to identify opportunities and drive growth.
- Collaborate closely with underwriters, actuaries, and other internal stakeholders to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements on behalf of clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our insurance solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the Commercial Lines insurance landscape, and proactively advise clients on relevant developments.
- Monitor and manage client accounts, including renewal processes, policy changes, and claims management, to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a mentor and subject matter expert for junior team members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active insurance Property and Causality licenses and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success in and account management.
- Strong technical knowledge of various Commercial Lines products, including Property & Casualty, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Commercial Auto, among others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
