Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Team Lead/Office Manager to oversee our insurance operations and ensure the effective management of our insurance processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and procedures. This role requires excellent communication abilities, as well as the capacity to train and develop team members in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the Persona lines insurance department, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Manage clerical tasks related to insurance processing, including documentation and record-keeping.
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance their knowledge of personal lines insurance products and customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with human resources to ensure proper staffing levels and employee performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of all insurance transactions and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 2-20 License
- Experience with Epic or AMS 360 preferred
- Proven experience in an insurance management role or similar supervisory position.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team effectively, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Experience in administrative tasks related to clerical work within an office setting.
- Familiarity with medical office management is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Ability to train and develop staff effectively, promoting continuous learning within the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
