What are the responsibilities and job description for the AWS Application Technical Architect position at Thinkreh?
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Solutions Architect with strong expertise in designing and optimizing in-house applications using AWS services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving continuous improvements, working with cross-functional teams, and creating robust architectures for integration, security, privacy, and data exchange.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience architecting a portfolio of applications using AWS Services, including WAF, CloudFront, Lambda, S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, Glue ETL, System Manager, Parameter Store, VPC, Subnets, Route 53, ALB, etc.
- Expertise in designing applications with a focus on security and privacy requirements.
- Experience in reviewing and developing future-state application architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of integration strategies, API usage, and data exchange between systems and third-party tools.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review Architecture for In-House Applications: Assess and optimize existing application architectures built on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Drive Continuous Improvements (Kaizen): Identify opportunities for improvements in architecture, processes, and technology, driving efficiency and innovation.
- Collaboration with 3rd Party Tool Teams: Work with external vendors and tool teams to design seamless integration strategies, ensuring compatibility with AWS architecture.
- Design Security and Privacy Framework: Architect solutions that meet stringent security and privacy requirements, incorporating best practices in encryption, access control, and data protection.
- Develop Future State Architectures: Lead the design and development of future-state architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- API and Data Exchange Architecture: Design and implement robust solutions for data exchange and API integrations to ensure smooth communication between systems and external partners.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
