Job Description

Skill: IIB Developer

• An IIB (IBM Integration Bus) developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus technology.
• Primarily focusing on creating message flows to seamlessly connect different applications and systems within an enterprise by analyzing business requirements.
• Implementing data transformations, and ensuring smooth data flow between various platforms; essentially acting as a bridge between disparate systems through the IIB platform.

Required skills for an IIB developer:

• Proficient in IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Deep understanding of IIB concepts like message flows, message sets, ESQL, different node types, and configuration options.

Programming skills:

• Familiarity with Java or other programming languages, especially when using Java Compute nodes within IIB.

Data integration knowledge:

• Expertise in data mapping, data transformation techniques, and handling various data formats like XML, JSON, EDI.

MQ administration:

• Basic understanding of IBM WebSphere MQ for managing message queues and message brokers.

System integration experience:

• Knowledge of different integration patterns and best practices for connecting diverse systems.

Problem-solving and analytical skills:

• Ability to diagnose integration issues, troubleshoot errors, and identify root causes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
