We are seeking an experienced Network LAN Architect with deep expertise in IP networking, LAN switching technologies, Cisco SDA, DNAC, and data center networking. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and present technical recommendations effectively. This role involves designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions with a focus on cloud and monitoring technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access), DNAC, and data center networking solutions.
- Provide high-level networking expertise to influence architecture decisions and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network strategies, requirements, and best practices.
- Utilize monitoring and alerting tools such as Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, ThousandEyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, and Site24x7 for proactive network management.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security across network infrastructure.
- Present concepts, designs, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement IP addressing and Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM) strategies.
- Work with LAN switching technologies, including VXLAN, ACI, FabricPath, Spanning Tree, VLAN, and VTP.
- Provide expertise in network automation, cloud integration, and data center networking.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Expertise in Internet Protocol (IP) addressing and Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM).
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco SDA, DNAC, and data center networking.
- Strong experience with LAN switching technologies: VXLAN, ACI, FabricPath, Spanning Tree, VLAN, and VTP.
- Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools (Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, ThousandEyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, Site24x7).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking solutions and integrations.
- Ability to influence, persuade, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNP/CCIE certifications preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
