We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM functionality, configuration, and PeopleTools, along with a desire to learn and grow within the field. This position will be responsible for analyzing business processes and mapping them to system solutions while identifying gaps and providing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand the functionality of PeopleSoft HCM modules and related configurations.
- Configure PeopleSoft HCM according to business requirements, ensuring that all features are optimized and aligned with business goals.
- Leverage PeopleTools for system enhancements and customizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into PeopleSoft HCM solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis between business needs and system capabilities, and provide recommendations to bridge those gaps.
- Assist in the development of test cases and execution of system tests to ensure successful implementation.
- Document business processes and system configurations for future reference.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- Stay up to date with new PeopleSoft HCM features, tools, and trends, and demonstrate a desire for continuous learning and skill development.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM functionality and all relevant configurations.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleTools and the ability to apply it effectively in real-world scenarios.
- Ability to map business processes to system solutions, identify gaps, and provide solutions.
- Good breadth of knowledge across the entire PeopleSoft application suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and offer practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- PeopleSoft HCM certification (a plus).
- Experience in any specific PeopleSoft HCM modules (such as Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
