We are seeking an experienced Windchill Developer with 5 years of hands-on expertise in Windchill API and integration, particularly with Servigistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Windchill’s core functionalities, including persistence, navigation, views, wizards, services, listeners, and component builders. The role also involves working with Windchill’s advanced features such as change management, workflows, Info Engine, Vaulting, Replicas, and Cluster environments to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and implement Windchill solutions with a focus on API integration and Servigistics interoperability.
- Develop and optimize Windchill functionalities, including packages, change management, workflows, persistence, and navigation.
- Work with Windchill API to enable seamless integrations with third-party applications, particularly Servigistics.
- Leverage component builders, views, wizards, services, and listeners to enhance user and system interaction within Windchill.
- Manage and optimize complex Windchill environments, including Vaulting, Replica, and Cluster setups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide Windchill solutions that align with business needs.
- Troubleshoot system issues, diagnose problems related to Windchill APIs and integration, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Work with the Windchill Info Engine to improve data processing and reporting capabilities.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and improvements to existing Windchill configurations and integrations.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working with Windchill, with a focus on API integration and Servigistics.
- In-depth understanding of Windchill functionality, including change management, workflows, persistence, navigation, views, and more.
- Hands-on experience with Windchill components such as component builders, listeners, wizards, and services.
- Strong technical expertise in managing and troubleshooting Windchill environments, including Vaulting, Replicas, and Cluster systems.
- Familiarity with Windchill Distributed Systems (DS) for large-scale, high-performance implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues in Windchill systems.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in customizing and extending Windchill API for specific integration needs.
- Knowledge of advanced Windchill features, such as replication and clustering in distributed environments.
- Prior experience with the aerospace or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with PTC tools and technologies beyond Windchill, such as Creo, ThingWorx, and others.
