What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunctive Services Director position at Thira Health?
Primary Purpose and Function
Directs and Oversee Contracted Therapeutic Services, Learning and Development, Nutrition Services, and Patient Support Services (PSS). Provides support to the Executive Director in the implementation of strategic initiatives and serves as a member of the Senior Leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related therapy field
· Minimum of five (5) years experience in a healthcare management, leadership or supervisory role
· Minimum of two (2) years related experience in a PHP, IOP, IPU or Residential Treatment facility
· Demonstrated ability in the review, analysis, and interpretation of data as it relates to insurance billing and clinical documentation requirements
· Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to use various software programs
· Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check (Federal and state)
· Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays as needed
· Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
· Washington State Independent License (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist)
· Verified/approved Washington State clinical supervision training and certification, or must meet state requirement through education and experience
· Successfully pass a comprehensive Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
· Valid WA state driver’s license; successfully pass THIRA’s Driver Assessment

· Provide consistent leadership within the Adjunctive Services department
· Assist the Executive Director in the execution of various programs and services, including nutrition, patient services, contracted therapeutic services and learning and development
· Design e-learning courses, facilitate workshops. Create and execute learning programs and developmental strategies
· Assist managers with building learning plans for their team members
· Serves as the main point of contact for all inquiries regarding training and development
· Ensures security, reliability and accuracy of patient records and patient databases
· Provide input to the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team regarding adjunctive services policies and procedures, identification of emerging issues and recommended appropriate actions/responses
· Direct and manage all Adjunctive Services organizational change; oversee and assist with internal communications

Working Environment
Work is performed primarily indoors, with both artificial and natural lighting. Equipment includes standard office equipment, i.e., computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, and scanner. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, repetitive use of hands, and lifting up to 25lbs. Position requires close contact with all THIRA Health staff and mental health patients. Hours and days can vary within a Saturday through Friday work week.
