Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
IT Technical Administrator a / k / a Computer Information System (CIS) Administrator, will provide the Bank with a competitive edge by aligning CIS with our business operations. Duties include implementing and maintaining guidelines and documentation for Core and all computer technology environments, support IT Teams and will assist in the implementation of computer network security protocols.
IT Technical Administrator Job Description
We are looking for an innovative and dedicated Technical Administrator to optimize the performance of the Bank’s computer information environment and systems. Duties will include collaborating with the IT Team and users to enhance system performance and completing projects on time.
The technical Administrator should demonstrate extensive experience in Core, CIS development and maintenance. In addition to keeping pace with advancements in the field and promoting technological innovation at the Bank.
IT Technical Administrator Responsibilities :
- Create and maintain guidelines and documentation pertaining to Core, backup environment setup and configurations of software, hardware and / or in-house applications.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions within the designated environments in order to improve performance and efficiency.
- Support and comply with policies and procedures including Change Management, project management methodology, and SOX controls ensuring 100% compliance.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles to allow successful support and troubleshooting of the Core, applications and backup infrastructure.
- Ensure Disaster Recovery and Data Retention requirements are maintained as defined by applications Service Level Agreements and Support Tiers
- Notify faulty hardware to technical colleagues so they can take appropriate action.
- Analyzes, qualifies, and supports Change Order Requests
- Attends emergency / kick-off Change Management meetings with other functional groups.
- Reporting to Management on CIS development, implementation, and progress.
- Collaborating with development Teams and departments, as well as incorporating user feedback.
- Ensuring that products and services are delivered on time and within budget.
Supervisory Responsibility :
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Type :
This position is a full-time, exempt position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.
Travel :
Travel is expected for this position.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements :
This position operates in a professional office environment. This position requires regular sitting, walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), reading, seeing (including color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusted focus), speaking, hearing, listening, organizing, interpreting data and information, operating office equipment, typing using a computer keyboard and mouse, viewing a computer screen monitor, and use of a telephone. The working environment consists of an indoor and climate-controlled setting most of the time.
