Position Summary :
The Regional Closing Analyst (RCA) is the main interface with Relationship Managers, Relationship Associates, Portfolio Managers, outside Attorneys and Title Companies for all matters related to the loan transactions. The incumbent will support the broader loan operations team by supporting the day-to-day closing and documentation of loans in a broad range of industries that require special handling and industry knowledge. Responsible for a variety of activities to ensure data integrity of loans, including gathering, reviewing, and preparing loan documents prior to onboarding in the core loan system. Perform regular quality review of loan documentation. The ability to work in a demanding environment with high volume and be able to multi-task while having excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are important. Candidates should have experience with all loan operation functions while managing multiple workflow systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

- Manage and directly support a wide-ranging loan portfolio through LaserPro, LaserPro Plus and Attorney Prepared documents for new, renewed, and modified loans for the commercial and corporate lines of business to include real estate, construction, and varying business industries.
- Manage the day-to-day workflow of the loan closing process delivering superior service to internal client partners, outside attorneys, title and insurance companies, and other third-party vendors, providing expertise to the team and client to ensure that policy, legal, compliance and regulatory matters necessary for closing are addressed early in the process.
- Ensure that transactions are closed per the instructions stated in the Credit Approval Memo.
- Read and interpret Credit Agreements ensuring all policies and procedures are consistently met.
- Ensures that all documents required for closing are in place prior to issuing a judgmental "clear to close" decision.
- Obtain proper approval from Credit Officers for exceptions of trailing and missing documents and ensure that the appropriate follow-up actions are in place to insure receipt of any approved trailing documents.
- Ability to work independently on day-to-day tasks, utilizing prior experience, knowledge, and continuing education.
- Perform high volume transactions including approving loan boardings, fundings, UCC Searches / Filings, Environmental requests, etc. as instructed in accordance with Credit Agreements.
- Accurate tracking of insurance required, HMDA, and CRA requirements.
- Review daily reports to ensure all closing activity has been completed accurately.
- Communicate with lines of business partners, managers, and other operations partners regarding loan transactions, research, and exceptions.
- Promptly identify, communicate, and remediate errors.
- Help advance positive change within the team and the organization.
- Foster a collaborative teamwork environment.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility :
While this position does not have direct reports, there is the responsibility of providing direction to multiple parties while achieving shared goals.
Job Type :
This is a full-time, exempt position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.
Travel :
Local is expected for this position.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements :
This position operates in a professional office environment. This position requires regular sitting, walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), reading, seeing (including color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusted focus), speaking, hearing, listening, organizing, interpreting data and information, operating office equipment, typing using a computer keyboard and mouse, viewing a computer screen monitor, and use of a telephone. The working environment consists of an indoor and climate-controlled setting most of the time.
