Perform tasks assigned to operations such as quality inspections, equipment preparation, process sampling, operating equipment lines, inventory movements (physical and within company ERP system), unloading/loading product from rail cars, tanks, ISO’s, tank trucks, totes, drums, and pails.

Perform tasks assigned to operations such as quality inspections, equipment preparation, process sampling, operating equipment lines, inventory movements (physical and within company ERP system), unloading/loading product from rail cars, tanks, ISO’s, tank trucks, totes, drums, and pails.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties.
- Operate packaging machinery of several types at the production line, always performing actions safely.
- Sort and weigh products after packaging to ensure requirements are met and no mistakes have been made.
- Apply labels and transfer products to warehouse locations.
- Perform simple maintenance on your machine to ensure it is completely functional and safe to operate.
- Perform tasks assigned to operations such as quality inspections, equipment preparation, process sampling, operating equipment lines, inventory movements (physical and within company ERP system), unloading/loading product from rail cars, tanks, ISO’s, tank trucks, totes, drums, and pails.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report the following to supervisor: equipment defects or malfunctions; out of spec material or contamination; safety issues or incidents.
- Complete paperwork and other minor administrative tasks carefully ensuring all information is entered correctly and clearly.
- Support other machine operators to ensure no workers become fatigued or distracted during daily operation.
- Perform plant cleanup standard tasks during and at the end of an operation or workday.
- Exhibits and practices the Third Coast Way fundamental behaviors
- High School Graduate or GED desired but not required.
- Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience.
- Industrial Forklift Experience is required
- Knowledge of and experience working with hazardous materials
- Must be able to multitask, stay organized, detailed, and focused and show a high level of initiative.
- Ability to identify and then implement process and productivity improvements.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and completely, understand the importance of detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively to team members and management.
- Computer/ERP system experience.
- Must have a desire to learn, grow and take on additional responsibilities.
- Must be able to learn quickly, retain knowledge and follow instructions.
- Must be able to read and interpret a Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use their hands and arms to handle, feel, or reach.
- The team member frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- The team member is occasionally required to sit.
- The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally move or manipulate drums weighing between 200600 pounds.
