Overview:
We seek a highly experienced and strategic SAP Onsite F&A specialist for Phase 1(Track Level) Architect to lead and oversee the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA solutions for our clients who are into downstream oil and gas operations. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules relevant to the oil and gas industry and a proven ability to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture and Design:
Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored to downstream oil and gas business processes, including marketing, distribution, and trading.
Ensure alignment of SAP S/4HANA capabilities with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
Develop and document end-to-end architecture of FI-CO ( F&A) for complex business processes spanning multiple SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and IS-Oil). Keep in mind processes like Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay while designing.
Implementation Leadership:
Guide the full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA, including discovery, blueprinting, realization, deployment, and support.
Oversee data migration strategies and integration with third-party systems, ensuring seamless functionality and data integrity.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and functional teams, providing hands-on leadership and mentorship.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
Facilitate workshops and design sessions to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
Present architecture proposals and project updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Performance Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
Provide technical leadership for performance tuning, system upgrades, and scalability enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills: Education and Experience:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of SAP experience, with 5 years in a principal architect or leadership role.
Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, specifically in downstream oil and gas industries.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA FI-CO (F&A) modules, and its integrations with other modules like MM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and IS-Oil.
Strong understanding of SAP Best Practices for Oil & Gas (e.g., Hydrocarbon Product Management, Secondary Distribution, and Energy Pricing).
Experience with SAP Fiori, ABAP, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, APIs) and data migration frameworks.
Leadership and Communication:
Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Architecture, SAP IS-Oil).
Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the oil and gas sector.
