Schedule availability: Monday-Friday 7am to 5:30pm
Starting pay: LPN- $21.20 per hour, RN $25.00 per hour
Currently, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in our health clinic. In this role you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in the coordination and delivery of patient care services. Your primary focus will be on ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting efficient clinic operations.
Essential Job Duties:
- Performs delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards in accordance with the Ohio Nursing Practice ethical and professional guidelines.
- Accurately documents pertinent observations and interventions in the Electronic Medical Record to aid in the development of the patient centered care plan and the delivery of quality and equitable health care.
- Carries out physician orders timely and accurately.
- Maintenance of quality control standards, logs, and point of care testing.
- Attends required Clinical and Health Center in-service programs.
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for professional practice, continued growth, and self-evaluation.
- Complies with the Third Street Family Health Services infection control policies and procedures.
- Understands and demonstrates compliance with Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA) and Third Street Family Health requirements.
- Maintains appropriate licensure and participates in continuing education activities to exemplify the Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Ensure and uphold the confidentially requirements of all patient records, and manage all daily tasks and activities consistent with HIPAA, state and federal laws and regulations, as well as the clinic's policies and regulations regarding confidentiality and security.
- Provide culturally competent quality patient-centered health care in partnership with the communities we serve.
- Provides clinical and administrative support and functions as a resource and mentor for new staff and students assigned to their work site.
- Assists the Clinical Nursing Manager in ensuring that nursing staff follow the Nursing Practice Act in their delivery of comprehensive patient care with maintenance of strict confidentiality.
- Ability to develop trust and effective working relationships with staff members, individuals, families and external and internal professionals
- Strong information gathering/interviewing techniques.
- Be a positive role model for all health center staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Licensure: Ohio LPN or RN Nursing License
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience required or preferred
