Quality Assurance & Control Inspector - Structural & Civil Engineering

Job Description

The Quality Assurance & Control Inspector is responsible for overseeing construction projects to ensure compliance with structural and civil engineering standards, regulations, and project specifications. This role involves inspecting materials, reviewing blueprints, conducting site tests, and ensuring that all work adheres to safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect construction sites, materials, and workmanship to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct structural integrity assessments, material sampling, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Document inspection findings, maintain records, and prepare reports on project quality performance.
• Monitor adherence to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and international building codes.
• Assist in training construction personnel on quality standards and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in construction quality control, site inspections, or materials testing.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in quality control software and inspection reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
