The Quality Assurance & Control Inspector is responsible for overseeing construction projects to ensure compliance with structural and civil engineering standards, regulations, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect construction sites, materials, and workmanship to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct structural integrity assessments, material sampling, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Document inspection findings, maintain records, and prepare reports on project quality performance.
- Monitor adherence to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international building codes.
- Assist in training construction personnel on quality standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in construction quality control, site inspections, or materials testing.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in quality control software and inspection reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
