Thirsty Lion is seeking a dynamic Social Media & Brand Creative Manager to join our corporate team. This role will oversee key marketing functions including social media strategy, email marketing campaigns, and graphic design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multi-channel marketing and be passionate about promoting the Thirsty Lion brand across digital platforms, supporting local and national campaigns, and driving guest engagement.
This person will develop the strategy and create content that strengthens the national / regional / local Thirsty Lion positioning of being a premiere restaurant destination in the upscale casual sector, with a focus on our scratch kitchen and craft cocktails & beer. The position will also work on a single unit "legacy" bowling alley, restaurant and arcade called Grand Central Bowl & Arcade in Portland, OR.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
1. Social Media Content Creation & Management :
- Develop, plan and execute a monthly content calendar that reflects our broader marketing strategies; generating standalone social campaign ideas and support the amplification of integrated marketing campaigns across all organic social channels
- Management of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Create social media strategies for the Thirsty Lion and Grand Central Bowl & Arcade brands and continuously work to refresh it as trends, algorithms, and platforms evolve
- Work closely with restaurant locations to promote regional events, seasonal menus, and community involvement
- Develop compelling social media, including promos, reels, and posts that maximize engagement and conversions
- Capture high-quality photos and videos ensuring new, fresh content for social media channels
- Monitor and report on social media and campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.)
- Create weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly social media recaps highlighting KPI (i.e. follower growth, engagement rate, top / bottom post)
- Provide monthly reports to the Director of Marketing with key insights and recommendations for future campaigns
