The Company
Archway have partnered with a civil-specialised consultancy in Hamilton to hire a Civil Drafter / Designer for their growing team. The company is fast approaching their 30th birthday, specialising in Civils; Engineering, Surveying and Planning within the Waikato.
The Role
Work in a team of 6 and contribute to various land development and infrastructure projects across the Waikato & Bay of Plenty regions. You'll be involved in projects from concept to completion, providing calculations, estimates and designs, including earthworks, storm & wastewater, conducting site inspections and investigations, resourcing council consents & plans, and providing project management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with colleagues including Surveyors, Planners, Engineers & Managers across your projects.
- Use AutoCAD & Civil3D to provide detailed drafts & designs from concept to completion.
- Conduct site investigations to provide construction monitoring and reports on progress & deadlines.
- Demonstrate a moderate understanding of NZS3910 and ISO15650.
- Communicate with managers, contractors & clients to keep projects moving and adhere to deadlines.
