TITLE: Manager, Facilities & Maintenance
DEPARTMENT: Facilities
REPORTS TO: Director, Operations
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager, Facilities & Maintenance, will oversee and drive all facets of installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and facilities management within a high-performing, large-scale warehouse environment. This leadership role calls for a strategic and operationally focused professional with deep expertise in maintenance processes, equipment installation, and regulatory compliance. In this position, you will directly impact operational efficiency, team safety, and facility readiness.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Inspire, lead, and mentor the maintenance and custodial teams, cultivating a culture rooted in safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Ensure unwavering adherence to OSHA, health, and safety standards, embedding compliance within all maintenance programs.
- Create and implement robust training programs for equipment and machinery operations, empowering teams to maximize performance.
- Partner with leadership to assess and optimize facility layouts, enhancing productivity and supporting operational goals.
- Conduct regular building and equipment inspections to identify and address repair, safety, and code compliance needs.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage maintenance activities, including renovations, machinery upgrades, and safety compliance initiatives.
- Oversee the processing of work orders, ensuring timely execution of repairs, updates, and on-site renovations.
- Test and evaluate equipment to ensure reliability and facilitate up-to-date training for team members.
- Oversee the facilities and maintenance budget, tracking expenditures and maintaining an accurate equipment inventory.
- Identify, engage, and supervise third-party maintenance service providers, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Develop and sustain a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) to guarantee consistent operational readiness.
- Anticipate and address short- and long-term equipment and facility needs to align with organizational growth.
- Manage payroll, timesheets, and other administrative tasks while tracking team performance and conducting regular reviews.
- Uphold company policies in areas such as discipline, termination, and team performance evaluations.
Qualifications
Who You Are
- Minimum of 5 years in facilities or maintenance management, including 4 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in industrial kitchen or production environments is highly desirable.
- CMRP certification or equivalent maintenance credentials are preferred.
- Skilled in diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and industrial equipment, with proven experience in preventive maintenance.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, delivering results within tight deadlines.
- Comfortable using tools such as G-Suite and Slack to facilitate efficient communication and project tracking.
- Familiarity with company expansion initiatives and long-term facilities planning is a strong advantage.

Salary : $97,000 - $115,000
