Our partner is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher for a private, coeducational, non-sectarian, college preparatory day school located in St. Paul, MN. The position will begin in August 2025, with a full-time, exempt status in the Instructional Faculty, Middle School department. The school serves over 920 students in kindergarten through grade 12 and is known for its warm community, innovative curriculum, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- Teach foundational science content areas including Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science
- Engage students in creative, deep thinking and intellectual curiosity
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curricula
- Establish a supportive and engaging classroom environment for students
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents/guardians
- Advise students and contribute to the school community outside of the classroom
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Foster social-emotional development and academic growth in students
- Integrate knowledge of cultural competence in teaching practices
- Participate in professional development and training, including Developmental Designs for Middle School
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Experience teaching middle school students across all foundational science content areas
- Experience teaching in a Middle School environment, with knowledge of adolescents' social-emotional and academic development
- Passion for science and a proven ability to engage students in creative, critical thinking
- Commitment to developing and practicing cultural competence in teaching
- Ability to work in diverse environments and interact successfully with individuals from varied backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in computer science, math, engineering, and/or robotics (preferred)
- Experience with Developmental Designs for Middle School (preferred, but not required as training will be provided)
- Salary range: $45,000 - $65,000, based on experience and level of degree
