Thizzler On The Roof is a leader in independent hip-hop media, dedicated to amplifying emerging artists and shaping music culture. We’re launching “Bar Wars”, an innovative new series showcasing the Northern California / West Coast hip-hop scene. We’re looking for creative, hip-hop-savvy Content Creators to help bring “Bar Wars” to life through TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Description
What You’ll Do
Produce & Edit Original Content – Create engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Highlight the Hip-Hop Scene – Capture freestyles, interviews, drip checks, and skits featuring Northern California / West Coast artists.
Curate & Present Hip-Hop Content – Craft compilation videos, artist spotlights, and trend-based content.
Conduct & Edit Interviews – Bring storytelling to life by filming artist interviews and behind-the-scenes moments.
Engage with Social Media Trends – Stay ahead of viral formats and adapt them for the “Bar Wars” audience.
Collaborate with the Team – Work with producers, editors, and strategists to align content with the series’ vision.

Deeply Connected to Hip-Hop Culture – You live and breathe Northern California / West Coast rap.
Creative & Engaging Storyteller – You know how to hook an audience and keep them watching.
Social Media Savvy – You understand trends, algorithms, and what performs well on TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Fast-Paced & Adaptable – You can shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality content quickly.
Independent & Team-Oriented – You can take initiative while also working closely with a creative team.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in content creation (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts).
Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, etc.).
Understanding of social media trends and audience engagement.
Experience in music promotion, artist marketing, or event coverage is a plus.
