Assistant Program Manager – LTC Waiver Services in Anoka County
FLSA Status: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
FTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Hiring Range: $27.92- 29.53 USD Hourly DOE

Position Overview
As an Assistant Program Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager in the smooth operations of day-to-day activities for the assigned division, training Case Managers, and ensuring that person-centered services are provided to individuals served. The Assistant Program Manager will have knowledge regarding all the CAC, CADI, BI, EW waivers, and the AC Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment, orientation, and supervision of employees
- Provide support and guidance to staff, attend meetings and training as requested
- Creating and putting on training for the division's Case Managers
- Perform various administrative tasks (i.e. audits, billing comments, write-off requests, tracking RA referrals, etc.)
- Generate, review, and complete reports
- Provide coverage for the Program Manager when they are out of the office
- Maintain effective and professional communication with the Lead Agency
- Communication/Collaboration with other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least two years full-time professional experience as a Social Worker or related position(s).
- Must be licensed by the MN Board of Social Work or meet the minimum qualifications of a social worker under the Minnesota Merit System.
- Meet the requirements for Case Managers as defined by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Relocation Service Coordination, CAC, CADI, BI and EW Waivers and AC program.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle for work purposes, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Passing all background and requirements for facility and position; and
- The ability to pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of Inspector General to assure that person has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
