What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Controller position at Thomas Byrne Associates?
The ideal candidate will be a CPA with meaningful insurance experience, most preferably in P&C. This experience can be gained by working with an insurance company, serving insurance clients while in public accounting, or a combination of both.
You will oversee a growing and high-performing team of 5. You will continue their development and deployment while also working in a hands-on capacity leading the department.
The controller is a critical member of the overall financial management team for the business and therefore requires the communication skills and gravitas needed to be in broad rooms, interacting with external vendors, and working across various departments.
The base salary range below does not include a 40% bonus target which has paid out above target for several years. Excellent benefits, a hybrid schedule, successful business execution, and an outstanding per group round out this wonderful opportunity.
