Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and take proper photos to send to upper management
- Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Implement effective floor care techniques to maintain various surfaces throughout the facility.
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and supply usage.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial management practices.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Previous experience in floor care maintenance is highly desirable.
