Commercial Construction Superintendent

COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Thomas Construction is looking for qualified full-time Job Site Superintendent. We are an aggressively growing company and are looking for a team player with ambition, leadership, and good communication skills. The job will consist of full-time site management, including site supervision, safety management, scheduling, delivery management, and executing the overall construction plan.

Location Lake of the Ozarks

· Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.

· Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.

· Maintains construction schedule, identify, and solve problems.

· Schedules inspections and subcontractors as necessary throughout the process.

· Understands the project plans and specifications.

· Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.

· Prepare, schedule, and supervise completion of final punch list.

· Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and rectifies job site hazards immediately.

· Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.

· Maintains an organized job site, including the construction office, files, and submittals.

· Maintain, protect, and manage Argo equipment, tools, and material.

Core Competencies

· Skills: in Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Project, Procore and other related software.

· Experience: must have 5 years experience in commercial and/or hospitality construction and must be willing to travel within the mid-states’ region

· Education: A background with higher education is preferred.

· Organization: Utilizes strong organizational skills.

· Communication: Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.

· Problem Solving: Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications, and costs.

· Interpersonal Skills: Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed
interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
