We are looking for a motivated Patient Services Supervisor to join a growing Behavioral Health Center in Maryvale, Phoenix AZ.

Your role and Impact
As a Patient Service Supervisor, you will lead and mentor a team responsible for creating a positive dining experience for patients. By managing schedules, coordinating daily operations, and guiding the team, you ensure that food and dietary services are consistently delivered with excellence and compassion. Your primary focus is on maintaining high guest satisfaction by building strong relationships with patients and care providers. With a commitment to a professional image and efficient service, you set the standard for delivering accurate, timely meals tailored to patient needs while promoting safety, privacy, and respect.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Support Team: Oversee patient services team members by providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure high standards of patient care and customer service are met.
- Scheduling and Staffing: Create and manage schedules to ensure adequate coverage for patient service operations, including meal delivery and special dietary needs.
- Ensure Smooth Operations: Monitor daily operations and collaborate with dietary and hospital staff to proactively address and resolve any food or dietary-related issues.
- Deliver and Oversee Meal Service: Participate in meal delivery during peak times and guide the team in delivering patient trays, snacks, and nourishment with accuracy and a sense of urgency.
- Patient and Family Engagement: Engage with patients and families to understand food preferences and dietary needs, communicating effectively about therapeutic diets and meal choices.
- Inventory and Supplies Management: Ensure proper stocking levels and the timely restocking of supplies and goods.
- Uphold Standards: Enforce privacy, safety, and sanitation standards to protect patients' dignity and maintain a professional, compassionate environment.
- Customer Service Leadership: Demonstrate and instill a positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service across the patient services team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food service or dietary services, with prior supervisory or team lead experience highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and respond to operational needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively lead a team and interact with patients and staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- ServSafe or State Food Handlers card required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
