Schedule:

AM Shift, 5:30am-2pm including alternating weekends.

PM Shift, 10:30am-7pm including alternating weekends

Your Impact
As a Patient Service Tray Line team member, you play a crucial role in supporting the patient dining experience by assembling meal trays accurately and efficiently. Working behind the scenes, you help ensure that every tray meets dietary requirements and patient preferences, contributing to a smooth and pleasant dining experience for patients throughout the hospital. With a focus on detail and quality, you help maintain high levels of patient satisfaction while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards. Your efforts contribute to the well-being of each patient by providing them with a safe, nutritious, and enjoyable meal.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble Patient Trays: Prepare meal trays according to specific dietary requirements and patient orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly tray line area.
• Collaborate with Patient Services Team: Coordinate with other team members to ensure meals are ready for delivery and meet hospital standards.
• Inventory and Supplies Management: Keep track of tray line supplies and restock items as needed to support continuous operation.
• Monitor Special Dietary Needs: Verify that all dietary modifications, food restrictions, and allergy requirements are accurately reflected on each tray.
• Maintain High Standards: Adhere to hospital guidelines for cleanliness, safety, and quality at every step in the tray line process.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Assist in additional food and nutrition services as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food service or dietary support roles preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices; ServSafe or State Food Handlers card is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong team orientation and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
