Position Overview:
The Talent Development and Engagement Coordinator will be instrumental in fostering employee growth, enhancing engagement, and cultivating a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for talent development, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strategic mindset to drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and implementing talent development programs that align with Thomas Cuisine’s organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the Talent Development and Engagement Manager to identify training needs and create customized learning solutions for our field operators.
- Coordinate and assist in facilitating orientations, Thomas Cuisine company meetings, and various field training sessions to enhance employee skills, engagement, and position knowledge.
- Assist in developing and managing employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and engagement activities, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding the platforms the talent development department manages
- Assist in the development of personalized Thomas Cuisine training courses, videos, and documents.
- Collaborate withing the Talent Development team and other Talent teams to support the development of high-potential employees for leadership roles.
- Stay informed with industry trends and best practices in talent development and employee engagement.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Preferred; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in talent development, employee engagement, or a related HR function.
- Basic knowledge of learning and development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in using HR software and learning management systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in talent development, coaching, or a related field.
- Experience with training video creation.
- Experience in event planning.
