Position Summary
The Miller's Smorgasbord Restaurant Prep Work employee completes tasks needed to ensure a continuous supply of clean wrapped silverware is available for our guests. In addition, the Prep Work employee may assist with keeping our menus, check presenters, high chairs and chairs clean along with wiping server station surfaces. During peak times, table set up for groups may be required which includes, glassware, placemats, silverware and straws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Wrap silverware
- Set up tables for groups
- Clean chairs and highchairs
- Wipe surfaces in serving stations
- Sanitize menus and check presenters
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to push cart with wrapped silverware to designated restaurant areas
- Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude towards guests and fellow employees
- Exhibits a respectful, professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Capable of working well with others and maintaining an efficient pace
- Attention to details
- Able to follow directions
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
- Dependable transportation to and from work
