What are the responsibilities and job description for the Import Pricing Executive position at THOMAS Freight?
We are looking for a Import Pricing Executive to join our clients Pricing Team and manage and sell Transpacific Eastbound (TPEB) trade . This is a unique role focuses on pricing ocean freight rates, ocean procurement, responding to RFQs, and working closely with sales, customer service, and our overseas offices to optimize pricing and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ocean Freight Pricing & Procurement : Set competitive ocean freight rates for TPEB trade lanes.
- Spot Quotes & RFQs : Provide spot quotes and manage RFQs for ocean freight, trucking, and other transport needs.
- Collaboration : Work with overseas offices to maintain competitive pricing and service levels.
- Market Share Growth : Increase market cargo share through strategic pricing and spot quote management.
