What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer or Lead Installer - Traveling position at Thomas-Grace Construction, Inc.?
Thomas Grace Construction is a nationwide General Contractor with a specialization in retail remodels, tenant buildouts and store fixturing installations. We are actively seeking to add entry-level traveling carpenters to our project team. Located in Stillwater, Minnesota, we partner with large, national retailers giving our employees an opportunity to travel nationwide.
Candidates will preferably have experience in finish carpentry such as scribing and installing molding, trim and cabinets. Additionally this position will be involved with all aspects of store fixture installation and site work and must be able to interface and effectively communicate with others.
- Position will require up to 95% travel and night shift work.
- Preferred experience installing casework and assembling store fixture.
- Prior carpentry and equipment operation experience is desired.
- Strong computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet applications.
- Ability to meet high pressure deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communicate skills.
- Strong organizational skills, “can do” attitude.
- Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles
- Able to pass drug screening.
- OSHA 10, CPR & First Aid certification and equipment safety certification is desirable, however, TGC will provide to qualified candidates
Daily per diem when on out of town assignments
