Mid-level Data Scientist Job Description

Position Requirement:

· MUST BE A US CITIZEN

· ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED

· MUST HAVE 5-7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY REQUIRED

Staffing Requirement:

Successful candidates will be providing Data Scientist support services and products required.

Work Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Duties:

• Interact with analysts; routinely take and translate analytical requirements and transform them into data formats to allow for use and the application of new emerging analytical methodologies

• Interpret rich data sources, manage large amounts of data, merge data sources together, ensure consistency of data-sets, support the creation of visualizations to understand data, build mathematical models using the data, present and communicate the data insights/findings to specialists and scientists in their team and if required to a non-expert audience

• Design, develop, program, and test applications and exchange data within and amongst information systems

Skills and Education Required:

• Bachelor Degree Desired in related field

* Demonstrated experience developing data visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Power Bl, Grafana, etc.

* Demonstrated experience with data collection, conditioning, and wrangling

* Demonstrated experience with SharePoint content management, lists, and forms

* Demonstrated experience developing complex Nintex workflows

* Demonstrated understanding of data analytics and statistics

* Knowledge and experience with data base creation and management

* Demonstrated experiences with coding languages, specifically Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, Java, Rand JavaScript

* Effective oral and written communications skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $146,000.00 per year
