Marketing/Proposal Coordinator

Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven Marketing/Proposal Coordinator.
The Marketing/Proposal Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager and provides support in the development of marketing activities that include preparing responses to Request for Proposals/Qualifications and statement of qualification packages, coordinating special events and marketing promotional inventory, and creating brand awareness with the marketing team. The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, as well as communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees and external clients.
Duties of the Marketing/Proposal Coordinator include, but are not limited, to:
- Producing and assembling submission preparation and responses to Request for Qualifications and Proposals
- Producing statement of qualification marketing packages
- Research and gather data from management team and technical staff
- Writing copy for all types of marketing materials both online and offline
- Working closely with team members to produce relevant copy for marketing campaigns, brochures, rack cards, e-blasts, website, social media, newsletters, press releases
- Researching subject matter to ensure quality and accuracy of copy and editing and rewriting company copy written by other team members
- Writing and maintaining data compilation of project sheets, resumes, and marketing documents
- Help maintain project database for use in proposal preparation and reports for management
- Facilitate proposal kick-off and milestone meetings
- Assisting team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested
- Assisting in the organization, maintenance, and inventory of promotional items
- Maintaining and updating MailChimp database
- Planning, organizing, and preparing presentations
- Coordinating and overseeing company and community special events
- Photographing projects, people, and/or events for marketing purposes
Requirements:
- College graduate with 3-5 years of experience in a similar marketing role strongly preferred
- Prior experience in the Engineering/Architecture/Construction Industry strongly preferred
- Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
- Committed to produce good quality content often to short deadlines
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organized and self-motivated
- Ability to manage multiple, high profile tasks under strict deadlines
- Graphic design experience a plus
- Must be a team player
- Proficiency and/or knowledge with the following software/programs: Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Sharepoint, Wordpress
- Available to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm and overtime as needed
