Role and Responsibilities
The Shop Laborer at Thomas Industrial Coatings is responsible for ensuring that all assigned load lists are prepared, loaded, and delivered to designated projects in a timely manner. This individual will work closely with the Yard Supervisor to verify documentation and analyze load lists to ensure accuracy. They will also assist in testing functionality of equipment and accessories prior to distribution. The ideal candidate will have experience working in inventory and team environments, possess strong communication skills, and be able to acquire and maintain necessary certifications related to daily responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to physically stand or walk for long periods, use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects, lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds. Candidates should also be able to climb ladders and scaffolds safely.
