Top Texas Law Firm is currently hiring a highly skilled and organized Executive Assistant with an annual salary up to $150,000 based on experience, to provide comprehensive support to the President of Legal Operations.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO PRESIDENT OF LEGAL OPERATIONS Summary:
This role is ideal for a licensed attorney with significant experience in managing litigation dockets and ensuring trial readiness. The Executive Assistant will play a key role in coordinating activities, managing legal projects, and collaborating with trial lawyers to help the President meet departmental and organizational goals.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO PRESIDENT OF LEGAL OPERATIONS Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the President of Legal Operations, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling confidential correspondence.
- Oversee the management of litigation dockets, ensuring trial readiness and timely preparation of legal cases.
- Coordinate and collaborate with trial lawyers to align with the President's goals and objectives.
- Prepare legal documents, reports, and presentations for meetings with senior management and legal teams.
- Assist with the strategic planning and execution of key legal projects and initiatives.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking case statuses, deadlines, and other important legal activities.
- Serve as a liaison between the President and other Senior Counsel, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
- Prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines to ensure the President’s time is utilized effectively.
- Monitor firm performance metrics: assist the President by gathering and organizing performance metrics related to attorney productivity, case outcomes, and client satisfaction to inform decision making.
- Enforce firm policies and procedures: reinforce the firm’s operational policies and procedures, ensuring attorneys follow appropriate protocols for case management, client interaction, and documentation.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO PRESIDENT OF LEGAL OPERATIONS Requirements:
- Licensed attorney with a minimum of 8 years of legal experience.
- Strong experience in managing litigation dockets and ensuring trial readiness.
- Must be confident, adaptable, resilient and creative and have a strong personality to deal effectively with aggressive litigation attorneys
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other experienced trial lawyers and legal professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficiency in legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Must have the ability to interpret others by analyzing verbal/non-verbal cues
- Must be perceptive of others capability/demeanor
