Role Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will support business development efforts by identifying potential leads, generating opportunities, and initiating outreach for the agency’s pharmaceutical patient and payer access services. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with 1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Outreach
- Identify and research prospective clients within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors.
- Use cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other tools to connect with potential clients.
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for the Business Development team.
Sales Support
- Collaborate with the business development and marketing teams to ensure alignment on target accounts and messaging.
- Support the preparation of tailored sales presentations, materials, and proposals.
- Assist in identifying and tracking relevant RFPs (Requests for Proposals) for the business development team.
Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records in CRM software.
- Track outreach activities, meeting outcomes, and pipeline progression.
- Provide weekly updates to leadership on outreach success and lead generation performance.
Market Research
- Conduct research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in pharmaceutical patient and payer access services.
- Monitor competitor activity to inform outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or sales support; experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or agency settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages and conduct engaging conversations.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
