THE ROLE: The Land Acquisition Analyst is responsible for providing analytics and market intelligence to target opportunities, competitive data, and show customer trends to allow the team to find the best potential buys. Works closely with the feasibility team to provide the information to make the best-informed decisions.

Day In The Life

• Develop local market intelligence including key markets, pricing trends, competition, opportunity markets.
• Works closely with feasibility team to determine Performa and presentation to senior executive approval team.
• Assesses deals within the division buy box to determine feasibility.
• Provides in-depth analysis on real estate transitions using market data and comparable pricing.
• Understands contracts and can support the development of a deal and quickly pull information for the asset team.
• Works closely with feasibility team to determine Performa and presentation to senior executive approval team.
• Supports the deal making process to provide critical information, pull market data, and respond to team analytical needs.
• Reviews all selling platforms to identify opportunities and share with the asset team.
• Pulls MLS data to support the asset team to determine appropriate pricing and keeping current through the disposition process.
• Keeps budget updated to have real time open to spend and track deals and prospective deals WIP.
• Tracks status of all deals from prospect to disposition
• Supports the Asset Specialist to capture prospective buyers and share with sales team.
• Helps the Asset Specialist with tracking Listing agent performance and actions taken.
• Spends time in the market to visit asset opportunities, participates in local activities to build network.
• Conducts underwriting process ensuring meets all requirements.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or related field
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tool
  
  

The compensation range for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
