Job Details
It is every other weekend rotating shifts (7a-3:30p and 3p-11p) plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday.Reporting to the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor and the direct supervision by staff pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician assists in the preparation and filling of all medications necessary for inpatient services.
Support all department initiatives and daily workflow by ensuring that the proper medication and tools are available for the clinical team and patients
Job Description
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Training in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience or enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school program required.
- Computer proficiency required Certification through PTCB required. (exception: enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school program)
