Job Details
Hospital Greeters welcome and assist patients, their families and visitors entering the hospital. Greeters answer questions, provide information such as patient floor and room number, utilize internal software to register visitors, and direct people to the hospital location they need, thereby creating a caring and efficient atmosphere.
- Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make Jefferson Health the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees.
- Cordially greets visitors and patients upon arrival. Ascertains patients and visitors needs and directs them accordingly, including visitor registration.
- Provides assistance to patients and visitors by providing assistance with wheelchairs, escorting or transporting people who may need help to their destination, assist with calling a cab.
- Contacts Security, Environmental Services, or Facilities Management for assistance when necessary
- Monitors overall appearance of the hospital entrance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
