Job Description: As a Patient Services Associate II, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by processing arrival and departure activities with courtesy and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include obtaining pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures, verifying insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information.
- Process check-in and/or check-out, point of service activities, and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
- Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
- Maintain an efficient flow of practice and escalate patient and/or provider concerns as necessary.
- Greet and interact with patients/visitors in a professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
