Position Overview :
The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Platform leader is a pivotal role in managing the roadmap and implementation of Jefferson's web presence, in partnership with Marketing. This includes jeffersonhealth.org, jefferson.edu, jeffersonhealthplans.com, etc. This role is critical to oversee the AEM platform's ongoing roadmap including development, support and administration, and strategic alignment with enterprise goals. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage and enhance our AEM solutions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving the platform's continuous improvement, aligning it with our organizational goals and ensuring its operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role will focus its efforts in ensuring collaboration across the various stakeholder groups, end users, and developers to ensure that the AEM platform keeps a focus on stability, scalability, security, and performance of the platform while providing the solutions needed in an agile manner to provide business value to our stakeholders. This role will be an orchestrator of the platform in partnership with our key business stakeholders and the Technical Product Owners of each website.
Key Responsibilities :
Development and Administrative Platform Oversight :
- Oversee and plan technical guidance and development support for AEM production applications.
- Ensure development best practices, communicate and address health check development gaps, and plan transition from custom tables to out-of-the-box solutions.
- Ensure peer code reviews occur and participate actively in them.
- Plan and prepare for yearly platform upgrades, adhering to AEM's recommended best practices.
- Develop and release updates as per the defined Release Management plan and scope.
