As a Registered Nurse First Assistant, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal by providing exceptional support to Surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist Surgeons and RNAS in the operating room, ensuring smooth and efficient surgical procedures that prioritize patient safety and comfort.
- Engage with patients and their families, providing empathetic and supportive care that addresses their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote patient-centered care and improve the overall quality of care provided by the hospital.
- Participate in continuing education and professional growth opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge in areas such as nursing practice, surgery, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience as a RNFA in surgery, with robotic/laparoscopic experience preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania and RNFA certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
