- Clinical Practice
- Provides comprehensive care to patients on the inpatient Hospital Medicine service.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary health care team in making diagnoses of acute and complex chronic conditions.
- Manages diagnostic tests through ordering, interpretation, performance, and supervision.
- Formulates differential diagnoses by priority.
- Diagnoses complications and orders appropriate interventions.
- Maintains ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in acute care.
- Participates in continuing education programs, conferences, and workshops to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Serves as a preceptor or mentor for graduate students and new staff members to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
